As part of a challenge at Picture Perfect Creations. A simple card, hey I like simple as well as most.  Color challenge to use Always Artichoke, Dusty Durango, and Mellow Moss and this is what I came up with.

Birthday Cards part 3

Here is a birthday card that was so much fun to do...using the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink so that I could work with the blender pens (102845) and assorted ink pads to color in the cupcakes.  It was so easy to do.  Used 2 way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to fancy up the frosting.  This is part 3 of 4 of some fun birthday cards from me.

FTL76 sketch - SPCC32 Father's Day-Happy Retirement cards

Today I am entering two at one time challenges... SPCC#32 and Clean&Simple FTL76 Sketch but I did do two cards as I thought these was great to do for fathers day or a happy retirement for a dad, etc.  Not too much but simple over all.  I used the color combo of Close to Cocoa, Basic Grey and Creamy Caramel.  In the Fathers day card I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set, and in the Happy Retirement card I used the I (Heart) Hearts clear stamp set, of course you can get it in the wood too.

PPA27 Snowflake Lake Painting, must read to see how this is done!

I hope you all will enjoy this card, part of the challenge at Pals Paper Arts, of snowflakes, I thought a winter scene would be great to do.  This was a new techinque for me, I wanted to play with the blending pens I got in my starter kit from Stampin' Up.  I only used Whisper White Ink pad on the Night of Navy cardstock. Was a bit undecided of the snowflake edging I did on the Bashful Blue card but it was just too plain without.  I have oil painted for years (www.paintwithbarb.com).  The "key" to doing this card was to work on the "painting" from the front of the foreground to the back of the background.
