Color Create challenge card

I think of the last bunch of cards I just finished I like this one a lot and it is not the colors I usually work with.  Color Create was using Burnt Orange, Black and Cream so my matching colors was Dusty Durango, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.

This is my Mothers day card which is also a bookmark, see Monday's post.  I just added on it with a Pretty in Pink card and a single piece of DSPaper to match.  Stamp set used was Messages for Mom and Garden Green Ink pad.

Thanks Embossed Card

I just love how this card came out.  I have been working that Big Shot machine again....The Thanks is embossed with a Embosslits in the Big Shot machine.  Cardstock used was Handsome Hunter, Sage Shadow, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Apricot Appeal.  Designer Series paper Welcome Neighbor a SAB item.  Stamped with Basic Black Stampin Pad and stamp set Messages for Mom.  Also used Pretty in Pink Stampin Pad on the embossed Thanks.  Used 3 Flower brads on the card, tip...used the mat pack with the paper piercing tool to make the holes for the flower brads. 

Reminders...only this month for SAB, and only to the end of April for the Occasions Mini, come May 1st we start a new Occasions Mini catalog.

MOM Happy Birthday Card

 
Today is my Mom's 81st Birthday!  This is the card I made her.  I just love my Big Shot and on this card I have used the Top Note Die Cut with Pretty in Pink cardstock and a piece of designer paper to match.  Base of card and oval is Sage Shadow cardstock.  Whisper White cardstock was used with the Embosslits Beautiful Wings and the Big Shot to make the small butterflies.  Tip: make up butterflies ahead of time in different colors to use on cards and other projects.  Stamp sets used Messages for Mom, and Picnic Parade (Hostess set.  Clear blocks used A, G, H.  I just love the clear stamps but if wood is your love, the stamps sets do come in wood too. Also used the Wide Oval Punch.  You have until April 30, 2010 to purchase from the Occasions Mini Catalog...come May 1, we will have the new Summer mini catalog...and more great stamps, product, etc.
