Have a happy day card

Spring Break time here and it has been a busy week.  Daily visits from Robert and Scott.  Many days of geocaching with Scott, we are up to 11 found geocaches.  What is geocaching?  It is like treasure hunting with a handheld GPS unit.  To see more www.geocaching.com So here is Mondays mojo card a few days late.  

This is a fun card and it uses 12 x 12 cardstock for the base of the card, I used textured sage shadow.  Other cardstock used is Pretty in Pink, Elegant Eggplant, and Whisper White.  Stamp set is the Hostess set of Picnic Parade with Clear block B with Elegant Eggplant stampin pad.  Also used is a texture plate and the Big Shot machine and Whisper White 1/4 in grosgrain ribbon.  Do you see where I used a punch for the happy day saying, yes that is two punch outs used together.

MOM Happy Birthday Card

 
Today is my Mom's 81st Birthday!  This is the card I made her.  I just love my Big Shot and on this card I have used the Top Note Die Cut with Pretty in Pink cardstock and a piece of designer paper to match.  Base of card and oval is Sage Shadow cardstock.  Whisper White cardstock was used with the Embosslits Beautiful Wings and the Big Shot to make the small butterflies.  Tip: make up butterflies ahead of time in different colors to use on cards and other projects.  Stamp sets used Messages for Mom, and Picnic Parade (Hostess set.  Clear blocks used A, G, H.  I just love the clear stamps but if wood is your love, the stamps sets do come in wood too. Also used the Wide Oval Punch.  You have until April 30, 2010 to purchase from the Occasions Mini Catalog...come May 1, we will have the new Summer mini catalog...and more great stamps, product, etc.

Embossed Hi w/Heart Card

 

I love to use these Embosslits....in this card I used the Hi, and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits with the Big Shot machine.  Papers used: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Pale Plum and Designer Series Welcome Neighbor, a SAB item that you can get free, but it ends at the end of this month!  Stamp set used this time was the Picnic Parade Stamps a hostess gift that ends on April 30. And then punched out with the 1 inch punch.
