Crazy 4 Challenges that is Me!

Tonight I was tired but I wanted to see if I could find a challenge card to do...and I found one at Crazy4Challenges  The challenge was to do a card with a wooden accent.  Well I knew I had this embossing folder that came out last year and was still available but I could not find it so I had to do some looking and I finally found it and came up with this card for ya.  Enjoy...

Clean and Simple Card Sketch #235

 

I am trying to work in as many challenges this week and use up some of the soon to retire card stock at the same time..... today is Clean & Simple Sketch challenge.  Any supplies marked in red are items that are retiring and when sold out, they are sold out.

Get Well Wishes with Circle Circus Stamp Set

Even thro this is a older stamp set and only available in the wood mount, I had gotten a bit back and I love it and you can stamp all of these out and then punch them out with all the circle punches if you wanted to.  For this card, I started with the Sahara Sand cardstock for the base, added the Cherry Cobbler and then stamped on the Daffodil Delight with Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. Added a strip of Early Espresso for under the 5/8 Satin Ribbon (Very Vanilla).  Stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink the get well wishes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  Finished it off with a tied piece of Early Expresso 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon...cute and simple card.

Memorial Day Weekend Bloghop

Also used was the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes and 1/4 in real red grossgrain ribbon.

You can sure see this card from a mile away...all that bright Yoyo Yellow cardstock.  Also made with Very Vanilla cardstock.  Stamp sets Teeny Tiny Wishes, and Tart & Tangy, Write markers of your choice and finished off with stamp pads Only Orange and Ruby Red.
