The Love of Stamping!

VCRocks Blog Hop #1

This card is one using card stock that is on the retire list, brilliant blue, pink passion, pixie pink.  I used the reinkers earlier with shaving cream to make my own colored paper with whisper white.  After the ink drys then I used the butterfly punch to cut out the butterflys.  The two pink's card stocks are punched out on the corners with the Scallop Trim Corner punch. For the saying, I used the Watercolor Trio stamp set and then punched out the the scallop oval punch.

Second card.....

For this card, I used a soon to be retired card stock for the base of the card.  Used basic black with the scallop trim corner punch for the corners.  Also used the new stamp set "In a Word" for the saying.  Butterflys was made with the big shot and the embosslit butterflies.  I like making these butterflies, a whole mess of them and then use as needed.  A every simple but great card.

Busy fun Stampin Up day here

This is just one of the fun cards I made today and last night.  I signed up for some swaps on VC Rocks and just finished all four swaps today.  Here is the birthday card done with watercolor paper and Stampin Up Write markers.  I just love how easy it is with the watercolor paper that Stampin Up sells.  Stamp set is A Flower for all Seasons and also used the saying from Watercolor Trio and clear block B.  Card stock colors:  Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence, Barely Banana, Mellow Moss.  And as always when stamping and using markers, I used Stazon Jet Black ink pad.  Add edging ink pad Orchid Opulence and Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon.

PPA39-KISS (Keep it Simple, Sweetie)

Hi all, been a bit slow in posting again, hope to post more, life just getting in the way....here is my Kiss, Keep it Simple, Sweetie for Pals Paper Arts.  It is using some of the soon to be retired cardstock papers, Brocade Blue, and Pink Passion.  I also used Bashful Blue.  The stamp set, Watercolor Trio is a new set coming out in the new Summer Mini Catalog and if you don't happen to have a demo, I can send you a catalog (only in the US please).  The stamp set is a clear set, love them and I used clear blocks B, and H. Also the stamp set comes with the birthday greeting and a few others.  Note the pink passion did not really show up correctly of the colors in this photo.  I also used the ink pads of Brocade Blue and Pink Passion, also to be retired June 30.
